L&Q ask local children to design their dream community

Jun 14, 2017

L&Q and The Anderson Group are challenging local children to think about what they would like from their community and home – from more outdoor play areas, better green space, gardens and access to nature, to having their school and friends close by.

They are then asking them to put pen to paper to showcase their thoughts and ideas with the local community.

Local children who participate in the competition will be in with a chance of winning a framed copy of their entry and their choice of prize – either a Lego set to construct their ideal community or a gardening kit to perk up their garden.

All entries will be used to create a coffee table book to display at The Quarry’s marketing suite, whilst the best designs will also be showcased on The Quarry’s social media channels, for The Quarry’s followers and local residents to enjoy.

Primary schools can also get involved by introducing the competition in their classrooms. Schools which submit over 20 entries will receive a copy of the coffee table book.
